The Centre de formation professionnelle de la Baie-James has been operating in the Baie-James area since 1998. Located in Chibougamau, this organization also has two points of service, one in Lebel-sur-Quévillon and the other in Matagami. Since its inception, the Centre de formation professionnelle de la Baie-James has provided a diverse range of curricula in several sectors, including mining, forestry, construction, mechanics, welding, health and administration (secretarial, accounting).
